HOW does Jesus like us? He starts by not implicating us (John 5:45). If we remain in him, we have NO condemnation (Rom 8:1). The amount of times are we told NOT to judge? Jesus accepts us as we are– despite exactly how poor we are. Jesus doesn’t demand that we ‘tidy up our act’ before he likes us. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
